Free Online Dating got me Hooked

Most online dating websites offer a restricted free membership so that singles can get a feel for the site before making a decision to join up as a paid member. This is great, it really is, but be warned! The free memberships are really nothing more than dangling carrots to entice you in. Once I joined a site I was interested in, I uploaded my personal profile right away and waited for opportunity to knock. I was literally inundated with emails sent via the sites messenger facility within moments of the site’s moderators uploading my description. I think I got something like 17 ladies showing an interest in my profile on day 1. Of course, there were a number of these lovely gals that I wanted to respond to, but in order to do that I had to upgrade to a gold (paid) membership. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it’s just a warning about how free the ‘free’ is.
