What Are The Consequences of Teen Obesity?
Teen obesity continues to increase dramatically each year and for Americans of all ages. The percentage of children and teens (age 6-19) that are overweight has climbed to new heights. Although children have less weight-related health risks, they tend to have more of a risk of becoming overweight adolescents and then adults. Overweight people of all ages are at risk to numerous health problems, including diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke and some forms of cancer.
