Is there anything more fun than bean bag chairs? I don’t think so. But even with all its fun aspects, you probably didn’t know that when you sit in a bean bag chair, you’re sitting in designer Italian furniture!

That’s right, the bean bag chair was first introduced way back in 1969. It was created as a pear-shaped, soft leather chair by three Italian designers, but didn’t catch on right away. Eventually the shape was slightly changed, the leather moved to vinyl, etc… Mass production began and the rest, as they say, is history.

A bean bag chair is unique because it moves with you. If you adjust your seating position in a standard chair, the chair remains where it is. Not so with a bean bag chair. A bean bag chair fits any shape or size, any height or weight. It can accommodate one or two people, and the beans can be adjusted to give you support wherever you need it.
