She became convinced that dog training was right for her
She became convinced that dog training was right for her while observing the success of the pug’s Bark Busters trainer.
“Within 45 minutes, that dog was so proud he ran up the stairs and down the stairs and up and down again,” she said.
With his fear gone, there was no need for his owner, who had just had back surgery, to continue carrying him up and down the stairs.
In January 2007, a little dog named Lucy, a toy fox terrier, entered Watt’s life and would lead her to Bark Busters, a worldwide dog training company. Watt got Lucy in January 2007 and soon realized the pup did not have a laid back personality, to say the least.
“I’ve had dogs all my life, but she was totally out of control,” Watt said.
Lucy and Bella, Watt’s pit bull mix, went with her when Watt traveled to Colorado for her Bark Busters training last summer.
