Although gingivitis is known at its mildest form and periodontitis is the advance stage. But if gingivitis is left untreated constant swollen gum’s and bleeding gum’s will occur. The bleeding and swollen of gum’s is a result of inflammation brought by excessive plaque accumulation. Combating the bacteria that causes swollen gum’s and gum disease is an effective way of controlling the spread of gum infection.
