Is Above Ground Pool Ownership a lot of Work?
When we first bought our swimming pool, friends often asked me if it took a lot of work to keep up. But I can honestly say that it doesn’t. I love our pool and what work there is I thoroughly enjoy. My wife is amazed at how happy I am to vacuum it when she rarely finds me anywhere near the vacuum inside the house.
I’ve found that owning an above ground pool doesn’t have to take hours of work. But understanding the basics helps. Also, there are technological tools that help you save even more time.
Once balanced for pH, etc in the early summer, you will discover that you have very little further maintenance to do other than backwash the filter every couple of weeks for a few of minutes and clean the bottom whenever it gets dirty.
