“Doctor Who” Picks Up Sci-Fi Award

An episode of the celebrated British sci-fi series “Doctor Who” picked up a Hugo Award at the World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon) on August 9, according to a report on Screenplay Europe. This annual event celebrates the best science fiction and fantasy, voted for by the members themselves making it “the biggest award in fandom”.

The writer of the episode called “Blink”, Steve Moffat, is currently working on the upcoming adpatation of “Tintin”. For more info, read about Moffat and scriptwriting.
