If you’re like me, you don’t even want to think about moving, even if it’s to a slightly better place. I’ve been in my current house now for 16 years and I can’t believe all the junk that I’ve accumulated. Moving now would take forever. If you’ve been in your current location for any length of time, you are probably faced with the same moving disaster that we are, so you don’t even want to think about it. If you do have to move, you’re probably looking forward to settling in to your new place, but you know the move will be an exhausting one.

The last time we moved, it was to a much bigger house, so we didn’t mind all of the work. We stayed up way into the night long after the kids went to bed, packing and labeling boxes after boxes. Just when we thought we were almost done, we would find some more stuff to pack and label. I remember that as the day to move got closer, we had to stay up later. For awhile, we really didn’t know if we were going to make it in time. We had decided on a moving truck rental so we would have some flexibility and so we could save some money. One big question was, “how big of a truck will we need for all of our junk”?
